Many people wrongly think that horses are just that, horses – a large animal that eats a lot of grass, sleeps a bit and occasionally goes for a gallop! Yet horses are quite complex in their design. Both in the wild, and where possible in domesticated situations, horses live in herds. The herd, in order to survive, has a hierarchy and each horse understands its place in that hierarchy.  Within the herd, different personalities begin to emerge. And so it is with our own herd –  each of our horses have a unique personality and a unique story to tell. Their stories are not only entertaining but teach us so much.
