Flynn is the paddock clown. He is a friendly, inquisitive horse who enjoys meeting people (if he could he would stand at the gate greeting visitors as they arrive). A failed harness racing horse, he has shown us again and again that his talents lie in helping people to smile. He is a clever horse, who learns new things fast, and often helps our visitors learn some of the more complex horsemanship activities we do here at Spark of Hope. While he is okay with being brushed, Flynn finds standing still a little tiresome and would prefer to be doing something.
Likes: meeting new people, swimming in the dam, pulling Anna’s gloves out of the back pocket of her jeans
Dislikes: dogs, people standing near him while he is eating
Best friend: Sparky, Banjo, Steve, Smokey
Favourite food: Licorice, carrots
Fun fact: Flynn will often cross his back legs in order to scratch them.
